Technology Reform Project of 30 million yuan investment

In 1999, we invested 10 million yuan(RMB)
in introducing a new line of western style suits. And in
2000, we started the production of men's wear in cooperation
with a Japan company and achieved designed aim. But the
development was greatly limited by the existing workshops
and construction. With the help of the municipal government,
we gained the technology reform state debt project of 66
million yuan(RMB).
The first phase of investment is 30 million yuan (RMB).
We used 20 million yuan to move our plant: bought an area
of 1.6 hectare in the Dongcang Road of Taicang Economic
Development Zone and planned a construction of 19,000 square
meters, the main workshop taking us 12,500 square meters,
office building 2,500 square meters and living building
4,000 square meters. Another 10 million yuan was used to
import 500 sets of advanced high automatic industry devices,
to reform the old ones. Our goal is to double our productivity
of western style suits, to increase the productivity of
lady's fashion by 50% per cent, to build two lines of business
suits that would be capable of 200,000 pieces of suits every
year, to set up a line of trousers that would be capable
of 150,000 pieces of trousers every, to establish 2 lines
of men's overcoats that would be capable of 100,000 pieces
of men's overcoats every year, to start 2 lines of high
grade men's dust coats that would be capable of 150,000
pieces of men's dust coats every year. The lady's fashion
line will produce 1.1 million pieces of lady's dresses every
year. We will realize an annual output value of 200 million
yuan, revenue of 20 million yuan and foreign exchange of
US$10 million.
The second phase of investment is 36 million yuan, used
to import single side frame, double side jacquard frame,
rib machines and computerized jacquard machines from France,
all the knitting devices embodying international advanced
levels. They will be used to develop high technology, high
add-on value knitting garments.

has achieved the capability of producing world famous
men's wear , after 1 and a half year's development.
